Roger H. Contreras has maintained law practices in Los Angeles, California, Tucson, Arizona, and Sierra Vista, Arizona. He previously represented indigent criminal defendants as a Deputy Legal Defender in Cochise County. He was a Deputy Cochise County Attorney, where he was the managing juvenile prosecutor, managing misdemeanor prosecutor, and the Senior Trial Attorney in the Drug Unit prosecuting drug and violent crimes. Roger has experience in all courts in the State of Arizona. He also maintains his California law license (currently inactive).

Education

Roger H. Contreras was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University in 1987, then obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1990. He continues to attend educational programs presented by the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Prosecuting Attorney's Advisory Council, the National District Attorney's Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Arizona Public Defender's Association, and the American Bar Association.

Roger H. Contreras is currently a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the State Bar of California (Inactive), the American Bar Association, the Cochise County Bar Association (Treasurer, 2011-2023), the Pima County Bar Association, and the Sierra Vista Bar Association.
